March 2022 – Why Do You Eat?


We can see the grass again!

There is still some snow in the hills,
but down here at river level
things are looking brown and mucky.
But that is okay
because we know it is just a short transition
to the better weather and green grass
we are all looking forward to.

We have started some Green Stevia seeds in the grow room.
This is one of the first signs that Spring is just around the corner!

Why Do You Eat? Why do you take artificial supplements?

Why Do You Eat

 Our society has become so manipulated by slick marketing.

If we take just a few moments to “think” for ourselves
as to why we were designed to eat & drink,
(to nourish/care for our body)
it should become crystal clear
as to the best way to optimize a healthful experience
in our Earth-suit!

Why is it that many times
when someone is informed/led to believe,
that their body requires more of one nutrient than another, they run to the health food store or drug store
to buy an artificial supplement???

We are designed for nutrient rich FOOD!
FOOD * IS * OUR * FUEL!!!!

So if you require more of a particular nutrient such as;

Potassium, eat Bananas or Medjool Dates

Vitamin C, eat Oranges, Grapefruit, Kiwis, Strawberries

Quercetin, eat Capers, Red Onions, Apples

Bromelain, eat Pineapple

Curcumin, eat Turmeric, or Curry Powder

Chlorophyll, eat Alfalfa Leaf, Kale, Chard, Beet Tops

Protein, eat Alfalfa Leaf, Pumpkin Seeds, Almonds

Iron, eat Apples, Apricots, Peas, Pomegranates

I encourage you to always look to whole plant foods
to increase any nutrient deficiency
that you think you may be experiencing.

But if you ask me….
If you eat mostly organic, whole, raw plant foods
you will already be getting a full compliment of nutrients
in their most natural form.

This then allows the body to choose
from natural sources, what it needs and
how much it needs at any one time.

Your body has the ability to transform
RAW plant food into the nutrient it requires,
as long as it has the RAW materials to work with.
(Cooked, canned or microwaved don’t count)
That is why a variety of fresh fruit and veggies everyday
is a great way to stay healthy.

So do yourself a big favor and make sure to eat at least one raw fruit or veggie with EVERY meal!!

There is not a person on this planet who was born with a need for artificial nutrients or drugs.
That all happened because of
man’s interference and manipulation.

The plant kingdom has what your body needs!

Your job is to supply yourself the best
raw plant food you can
with where you are and
with what you have available.

Fresh fruit is nutrient packed
and when you add a good fat to your fruit,
it sustains you for much longer.

For example,
**Fresh apple slices or orange slices
with raw almond butter on them.

**A banana with peanut butter on it.

**A pear and a handful of pumpkin seeds.

Try these as a snack or a quick breakfast!
You will be amazed
at how long it will satisfy you.
Tastes great too!
